The hotel was conveniently located near shopping areas and college, with welcoming and professional service. The rooms were spacious and clean, but the heating system was not effective. The dining experience offered an array of food options, and the location was central despite some noise disturbances early in the morning.

The hotel rooms at The Residence Inn by Marriott were clean and very nice, offering everything one could expect plus scrambled egg whites and wild Maine blueberries, which is always a great addition in this chain. The service was really professional, and the staff, including the housekeeper and a supervisor, were attentive to my daughter and me. The location was convenient in relation to Bates College, although the property itself seemed a bit shabby for a Marriott. The dining experience was a bit above average, with a well-stocked buffet, although the breakfast seating area felt cramped due to ongoing construction. Overall, it's a good choice for a business traveler in the Lewiston/Auburn area.
