Reviews and Ratings
The hotel was conveniently located near shopping areas and college, with welcoming and professional service. The rooms were spacious and clean, but the heating system was not effective. The dining experience offered an array of food options, and the location was central despite some noise disturbances early in the morning.
The hotel rooms at The Residence Inn by Marriott were clean and very nice, offering everything one could expect plus scrambled egg whites and wild Maine blueberries, which is always a great addition in this chain. The service was really professional, and the staff, including the housekeeper and a supervisor, were attentive to my daughter and me. The location was convenient in relation to Bates College, although the property itself seemed a bit shabby for a Marriott. The dining experience was a bit above average, with a well-stocked buffet, although the breakfast seating area felt cramped due to ongoing construction. Overall, it's a good choice for a business traveler in the Lewiston/Auburn area.
I loved my stay at the hotel! The rooms were comfortable and clean, the staff was so friendly, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. However, the dining experience left something to be desired. Overall, great value for money.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were set up very relaxing and spacious, but unfortunately, we found dog poo in our room, which was definitely a turn-off. Additionally, the water pressure was very poor, and the smell of smoke lingered. The service was courteous and helpful, with staff going above and beyond for the room at the end. The location was convenient for exploring nearby areas but looked a bit shabby for a Marriott property. The dining options were not the best, with limited seating during breakfast, possibly due to ongoing construction. Overall, it was a stay with its highs and lows.
My stay at Auburn Residence Inn was fantastic. The rooms were exceptional, with windows that have screens for fresh air, making the stay very comfortable. The hotel being newly remodeled and very clean was a major plus, although I missed having the housekeeper and a supervisor present. The location was convenient, allowing me to reach dining spots and Bates College easily. The dining experience was awesome both days, with everything I could expect and delicious local products. The facilities provided were top-notch, adding to the overall enjoyment of my stay.
My stay at the hotel was overall very pleasant. The rooms were clean and quiet, although the bathroom design could be better. The staff was kind and accommodating, making my experience welcoming. The location was convenient for my needs, and the dining experience, while having some area for improvement, was still decent.
